Our Team

The Crew at White Shark Expeditions are on duty to give you the best possible experience with Great White Sharks .Our Crew have functional, technical and hands on experience and will search the sea to provide the best shark viewing as well as provide guests with detailed information about the Great White Sharks and other Marine Wildlife in the area around Dyer Island.
The team have worked with Scientists, World renowned photographers, international film crews and co-ordinate as a well oiled team to deliver top service to guests , and manage the conservation , education and research aspects .

We have over 20 staff involved the  running of White Shark Expeditions , and the key personal are

Boat Skipper
All the skippers have Certificates of Competency issued by SAMSA . These are commercial Category C tickets for vessels over 9m in length .They are endorsed for
• Operating as Small Passenger Vessel
• Diving Operations
• And will have completed these corses as a minimum 
     o First aid at Sea
     o Fire Fighting
     o Proficiency in Life Rafts
     o Annual SAMSA eyesight test
Dive Master
• Holding a Dive master Qualification
Boat Crew
They are involved with learnership programs to bring them up to the level of skipper within 2 years .Both from the local Community , and have extensive local knowledge
Tour Guide
Holding a minimum of a level 2 site guide as issued by SA Tourism
