Cancellation Policy

We cover a few scenarios with our cancellation policies for our One Day Expedition tour

Cancellation up to 24 hours before departure

Please cancel tours at least 24 hours before the departure time to avoid incurring a cancellation fee .
If a tour is cancelled more than 24 hours before departure no fee will be charged and the client will receive a full refund of the tour cost paid .

Cancellation up to 18 hours before departure

Cancelations between 18 and 24 hours before the departure time will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% , and clients will be refunded the remaining 50% of the tour cost

Cancellation less than 18 hours before departure

Cancelations within  the 18 hour period  before departure will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the tour cost . In this case no refund will be given. The same will apply to “no-Shows “ or those that have booked and do not arrive on the day .

Cancellations due to Bad Weather – before vessel departure

Weather is an issue at times , and In the circumstances that we are unable to operate a tour due to bad weather, clients will be informed as soon as possible and an alternative date will be offered or a full refund given.

Cancellations due to Bad Weather – after vessel  departure

Although extremely unlikely, as we keep a good eye on the weather, and do not schedule trips on bad weather days , we may have to curtail a trip whilst we are already out at sea due to changing weather conditions .In this case clients will not be offered a refund of the tour fee.

Cancellation due to no Sightings or Diving

White Sharks are wild animals and therefore their presence around the boat cannot be guaranteed .
We are unable to offer a refund in the case of no successful sightings.
In this situation we will happily offer an alternative date for the tour at a reduced rate.
Diving in the cage can occasionally be affected by weather conditions, and will not be permitted if safety is compromised in any way.  We are therefore unable to offer a refund if conditions prevent diving in the cage. In this situation we will happily offer an alternative date for the tour at a reduced rate.
